Contractual adjustments - Groupama has decided to extend until 10 or 15 June, depending on the type of crop, planting dates for maize, sorghum and sunflower crops that could not be sown due to particularly adverse weather conditions. Specifically, the date was extended to 1 June for sunflowers, for eligibility for full insurance, to 10 June for up to 90% of the insured yield for sunflowers for consumption and up to 85% of insured yield for seed sunflowers. For sorghum, the dates are 5 June, for eligibility for full crop insurance and 15 June for up to 90% of the insured yield. Finally, for maize for consumption, the date has been extended to 5 June for eligibility for full crop insurance, and 15 June for 90% of insured yield. For seed maize, the dates are as follows: 5 June for eligibility for full crop insurance, and 15 June for a reduction in yields of between 80% and 95% based on the reference index. Groupama estimates that 8,600 hectares could be affected by these contractual adjustments, primarily in north-east France and the extreme south-west (in the south of the Aquitaine and in the south-east of the Midi-Pyrénées regions).
